The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis is a dedicated organization focused on the conservation and promotion of the historic Glasgow Necropolis, located adjacent to Glasgow Cathedral. Established in 2005, this group comprises members with diverse backgrounds, united by their passion for family history, architectural conservation, and natural ecology. They aim to enhance the cultural significance of the Necropolis, which serves as the final resting place for notable figures from Glasgow's Victorian era, including engineers, artists, and inventors.

The Friends facilitate a range of activities, including walking tours, educational programs, and research assistance to engage both locals and international visitors. They produce interpretive materials that illuminate the site's rich history and unique architecture, designed by renowned architects like Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson. The Necropolis is Scotland's first ornamental garden cemetery and is included in Historic Scotland’s Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes.
