GlassHome is an independent dashboard for Home Assistant, designed to make smart-home controls clear and easy for everyone in the household. It brings lights, heating, music, weather, and other home features together on wall tablets, phones, and computers, with a layout intended for everyday family use. The dashboard runs on the user’s own network, requires no account, and can be installed through Home Assistant, Umbrel, ZimaOS, Docker, or other compatible setups.

Users can arrange dashboards with configurable widgets, choose from nine themes with light and dark modes, and tailor access for different household members. GlassHome includes official widgets, while its PRO option adds community widgets, custom theme editing, and other customization features for a one-time payment. Developers can create and publish custom widgets using the provided SDK and tools.
