Glassmkr is an open-source Linux server monitoring product for individuals and teams running servers without a dedicated infrastructure or SRE staff. Its agent monitors operating-system and hardware signals that can be easy to overlook, including storage, memory, CPU, power, cooling, networking, security updates, and supported GPU health. It detects available hardware and evaluates a built-in set of checks, helping users get useful monitoring without first designing dashboards, thresholds, or alert rules.

Rather than presenting only a metric or warning, Glassmkr explains what happened, shows supporting evidence, and recommends a check and remediation workflow. Guidance is informational: the agent does not execute fixes or open inbound ports. Customers can use the hosted dashboard, which is free for up to 10 nodes, or self-host the complete stack with no node limit and keep telemetry on their own network. Both options use the public AGPL-3.0-only software. Glassmkr is designed to complement, not replace, application tracing, external uptime checks, or Kubernetes monitoring.
