Glass Onion is a vintage clothing brand that was established in 2006 by our Founder, John. It all started in his Grandma's coal shed, where he sold vintage pieces. Within six months, we had outgrown that space and moved into a small top-floor lock-up located in Barnsley town center.

Since then, Glass Onion has become the leading vintage clothing company in the UK. We are passionate about sustainability and giving old clothes a new lease on life. At our in-house remade factory, we transform damaged and unwanted clothes into new pieces that can be worn again for years to come.

Our factory produces up to 12,000 remade clothing items every month. In 2020, we launched our global e-commerce website, allowing customers from all over the world to access our vintage clothing. We also have a physical store in Sheffield City Centre, as well as pop-up events that tour the UK.

Additionally, we offer wholesale services to high street brands, vintage stores, and production companies. We are proud to be a Living Wage Foundation-accredited employer, with a team of over 65 people who share our passion for sustainability and vintage fashion.
