2003年，配合政府推動台灣「全球運籌發展計畫」A、B、C、D四大計畫其中之D(Delivery)計畫，係以推動「自由貿易港區設置與管理條例」立法通過為重要政策，當時與部分立法委員組成推動小組，結合業界成立聯誼會，委由本會創會理事長蘇隆德為產業代表之一，該條例通過後，在推動小組催生下，整合陸海空及與產業發展有關之利害關係人，於同年9月3日正式設立「台灣全球運籌發展協會」，以提昇臺灣企業運籌與物流管理水準。 2015年，因應產業發展趨勢變革，為迎接新商貿運籌服務模式與全通路新零售時代來臨，本會積極轉型以「五流(趨勢、商流、物流、金流及資訊流)合一、創新營運」之「商貿運籌」為題，正式更名為「台灣全球商貿運籌發展協會」，擴大產業服務。 我們的服務： 1. 產業諮詢規劃服務 2. 顧問服務 3. 商機媒合 4. 參訪服務 5. 智慧物流學校-認證服務 6. 智慧物流學校-課程

The Global Logistics & Commerce Council of Taiwan (GLCT) is at the forefront of promoting and developing the logistics industry in Taiwan.
