Glen Avon Hockey

Glen Avon Hockey Club is a youth hockey association serving the Glen Avon and Congdon neighborhoods of Duluth, Minnesota. Established in 1947, the club has a long history in local hockey and provides neighborhood children and families with opportunities to learn to skate, develop hockey skills, and take part in the game. Its PeeWee team won national titles in 1951, 1952, and 1958, and the club has helped many players progress to higher levels of play.

Today, Glen Avon supports young players across divisions including Mini Mites, Mite 1s, and Mite 2s, with outdoor practices and games helping participants build experience as they grow. The club also offers guidance for new families and players through introductory resources on getting started, age- and skill-based divisions, hockey equipment, skating, and other basics. Visitors can find registration information, operating hours, tournament details, and club gear, available through Garon Brothers. Glen Avon also provides contact information and social media channels for families seeking to connect with the organization.
