Glendowie Padel Indoors is a purpose-built indoor padel facility located at 18 Forfar Road in Glendowie, Auckland. Described as New Zealand’s first purpose-built padel venue, it offers two courts beneath an 11-metre-high roof. A double-layered canvas is designed to help regulate temperature and prevent condensation, allowing play in varied weather conditions.
Players can book courts and use Playtomic to join the facility’s clinics and events or create open matches to find other players. Equipment is available through two payWave vending machines, where visitors can buy balls and purchase or hire rackets. The facility also provides coaching programmes for players at different levels, from beginners to high-performance players.
Glendowie Padel Indoors shares information about coaching, pricing, rules, and venue access online, and invites visitors to connect through Instagram and its WhatsApp community for event updates. Annual Glendowie Tennis Club members receive 10% off court bookings and 20% off group coaching during school-term programmes lasting eight to ten weeks.
