Glenshaw Century Club

Glenshaw Century Club, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) public charity serving neighbors in the Shaler Area. Founded in 1945, the organization began by providing milk money to children in need and has grown into a volunteer-supported community group dedicated to helping people facing hardship. Its mission includes advancing children’s education through scholarships based on merit and need, promoting the welfare of older, poor, or distressed people, and raising funds to improve the community.

The club provides grants to graduating high school seniors who live in the Shaler Area School District and supports local nonprofits through donations of goods and services. Its community assistance has included meals, backpacks, Caring Bears, and rides for people in need. Fundraising activities include an annual fashion show luncheon, semi-annual craft fairs, and a yearly lottery fundraiser. Since its beginnings, the club has awarded more than $700,000 in college grants and helped local families through practical support. Community members can contribute through donations or club membership.
