About Glentleiten
Glentleiten is the largest open-air museum in South Bavaria, open from March 19th to November 11th. With over 60 well-preserved original buildings, the museum offers a tangible experience of rural life in Upper Bavaria. From the entrance building to the historical houses, Glentleiten showcases the history and culture of the region.
The museum also boasts various gardens, fields, and meadows, as well as a kiosk and beer garden, where visitors can enjoy traditional meals and locally brewed beer. Additionally, Glentleiten offers a range of activities, including exhibitions, craft demonstrations, and educational programs for children. For those unable to visit in person, the museum provides a digital experience through a 360° tour.
