Gliding Stars of NEO

Gliding Stars of Northeast Ohio is a nonprofit organization that makes ice skating accessible to people with unique needs. Through its adaptive ice skating program, the organization teaches and coaches participants, helping them work toward personal goals and discover their potential on the ice. Specialized training and adaptive skating equipment support people of different abilities and help create opportunities to participate.

More than a skating program, Gliding Stars values diversity, inclusion, community, and purposeful living. Its activities offer physical, social, and psychological benefits, with a focus on developing strength, motor skills, balance, and coordination, while encouraging socialization, confidence, and pride. The program welcomes youth and adults of all ages, fostering an environment where participants can learn, grow, and thrive together.

Gliding Stars of Northeast Ohio invites community members to get involved through participation, volunteering, and donations. Its ice rink is located at 2045 SOM Center Road in Gates Mills, Ohio.
