GLIM SPANKY is a dynamic rock duo from Japan, merging rock and blues with a fresh sound that captivates audiences. Formed in 2007 by Remi Matsuo (vocals and guitar) and Hiroki Kamemoto (guitar), the band initially gained attention by competing in notable music contests, leading to their eventual relocation to Tokyo. Their major debut came in 2014 with the mini album "SHOSO" under Universal Music.

Known for Matsuo's husky and powerful vocals, paired with Kamemoto’s bluesy guitar style, GLIM SPANKY crafts songs that echo the authentic rock spirit while infusing youthful energy.
