Founded by Simon and Anjana Gounder in 2003 as Anand Ministry and later renamed Global Asian Indian Ministries, the organization is highly recognized by SoCal Network, AG, and other organizations in the USA and India.

Global AIM offers various programs and services to connect with Asian Indians. They host monthly fellowship groups where people can make friends, enjoy a meal, and receive support. Additionally, Global AIM operates Friendship and Resource Centers that offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes and practical assistance to help Asian Indians acclimate to life in America. Global AIM partners with local churches in the US and around the world to reach Asian Indians within their communities.
