The H&M Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the fashion and textile industry into a planet positive one. They are on a mission to find innovative ideas that can protect our planet and change the way fashion is perceived, worn, and made. With their Global Change Award, known as The Nobel Prize of Fashion, they have received over 20,000 entries and granted a total of 6 million euros to over 30 disruptive innovations.
The winners of the award gain access to the year-long GCA Impact Accelerator program, which provides coaching and support from the H&M Foundation and its partners. Through this program, the winners have the opportunity to develop and scale their innovations for maximum impact. The H&M Foundation does not take any shareholder equity or intellectual property rights in the innovations, allowing the winners to collaborate with whomever they choose.
