Global Handicaps is a revolutionary brand that has played a pivotal role in the evolution of the team roping industry. Recognizing the need for a fair and inclusive system, Global Handicaps introduced a national handicap system in 1990, which has since classified over 100,000 ropers. This database has been the cornerstone of the industry for over 30 years, ensuring ropers of varying skill levels can compete on a level playing field.
Through innovative technology and software such as the Global Event Management Software (GEMS), Global Handicaps continues to lead the way in providing ropers with the tools they need for a seamless classification experience. With over $70,000,000 in cash purses paid out annually, Global Handicaps has shaped the team roping industry into the largest component of the recreational horse industry.
Join Global Handicaps and be part of a community where fairness and competition thrive, making team roping a sport enjoyed by all ages and abilities.
