Global Lens Awards

Global Lens Photography Awards is an international photography awards program open to photographers worldwide. Its annual competition invites entrants to present their strongest work across nine categories, with submissions assessed through anonymous judging and careful editorial review. The awards aim to recognize photography and help selected artists gain wider visibility beyond the competition results.

The Photographer of the Year receives a €1,000 cash prize and commemorative trophy. Top-three category and subcategory winners, along with Honorable Mention recipients, may have their photographs published in the Annual Book. Awarded work is also featured in a virtual public exhibition, giving photographers a gallery to share with their audiences. The program further supports selected artists with in-depth interviews, written editor’s notes, individual photographer profiles, certificates and public recognition.

The Global Lens website showcases past winners and galleries, and offers artist interviews, awards information, rules, prize details, and features such as Photo of the Day, Photographer of the Week and Editor’s Choice.
