About Global Ministries of the Christian Church
Global Ministries is a common witness of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. With a formal partnership, they share staff, budget, programs, and governance to serve international partners. Working with around 250 partners in nearly 90 countries, Global Ministries promotes mutual love, respect, and solidarity with brothers and sisters worldwide.
They collaborate with partner churches, nonprofit organizations, and ecumenical bodies, sharing life, resources, support, and faith. Their work includes advocacy, mutual exchange and learning, sharing mission personnel, financial and material resources, and praying for international partners. Global Ministries envisions a world where all of God's people and creation share in God's abundant life.
Their mission is to receive and share the Good News of Jesus Christ, collaborating with global and local partners to promote justice, reconciliation, and peace. They value interdependence, hope, radical love, reconciling relationships, and intentional commitments. Led by Co-Executives Rev.
