Globe Gallery is a brand that has been dedicated to making art accessible to everyone since its establishment in 1994. They believe in engaging with diverse communities and breaking down the confines of traditional gallery spaces. Located in North Shields, Globe Gallery first opened its doors in the former Globe Boot Company and has maintained strong ties with the local community ever since.

Celebrating their 25th year anniversary, they are now situated on the 7th floor of Commercial Union House. Due to the pandemic, their plans for a grand event in March 2020 had to be postponed. However, Globe Gallery seized the opportunity to showcase The Apple Doesn't Fall Far, an exhibition featuring the works of Amy South and the late Tony Whitfield.

Supported by ACE Recovery Fund, the exhibition was installed between lockdowns. Globe Gallery is excited to finally welcome visitors in the coming weeks. In 2021, Globe Gallery will be relocating once again, embracing their nomadic nature and adapting to the ever-changing creative landscape.

Although their time on the 7th floor was cut short, they remain optimistic about their next adventure, promising exceptional experiences for artists, visitors, and their dedicated team of supporters.
