Gloria Jane Harvey Foundation

The Gloria Jane Harvey Foundation is an organization dedicated to supporting young people through educational and recreational experiences. It raises donations and works with sponsors to help make trips and activities accessible to youth. Contributions help cover lodging, meals, transportation, park and event admission, and other related expenses, reducing the costs families might otherwise face.

The foundation’s activities and newsletters highlight a varied range of experiences, including college preparation and campus visits, cultural and historical outings, sporting events, and visits to destinations such as Washington, D.C., New York, Honolulu, and the Alamo. Its featured programs include the TMCF SOAR Scholars Program, a Junior Army ROTC student experience, and Prairie View A&M’s summer college preparation program. The foundation also shares updates about participants’ experiences and its educational field trips.

Through fundraising, community support, and sponsorships, the Gloria Jane Harvey Foundation seeks to create opportunities that can contribute to young people’s growth and future. Individuals can donate, share the foundation’s fundraising appeal, or contact the organization to learn about becoming a sponsor.
