Rzeki bez ryb są dla wędkarzy martwe i nieprzyjazne! Dlatego też grupa miłośników ryb łososiowatych i czystych wód Podhala zawiązała w 1993 roku Krakowski Klub Głowatka.

Krakowski Klub Głowatka is a Polish angling and conservation club founded in 1993 by enthusiasts of salmonid fish and the clean waters of the Podhale region. Its work centers on the głowacica, or huchen, a distinctive salmonid whose presence reflects the health of rivers. The club supports efforts to protect and rebuild the species’ population, including practical stocking initiatives.
In one reported project, 180 kilograms of four-year-old huchen were transferred from a fish farm in Czarny Dunajec to the Poprad and Dunajec rivers, continuing the club’s long-term conservation work. The organization also promotes responsible angling, reflected in its “Fishing with Principles” feature. Its website shares club news and information about the organization’s history, the huchen, sponsors, trophies, and gallery, while offering contact details for people interested in learning more.
Bringing together people who care about fish, rivers, and angling, Krakowski Klub Głowatka combines community involvement with efforts to support healthy waters and preserve an exceptional native fish for the future
