Schützenverein Damme-Glückauf e. V. von 1970 is a community-focused shooting and cultural association in Damme, founded in 1970.

Built on the values of fellowship, tradition and active participation, the club has grown from a small group of shooters into a multigenerational organization with a strong youth presence and an active women’s company. Its activities bring together members and local residents through shooting sport, the preservation of customs, youth engagement and social gatherings. The annual Schützenfest is a central part of the club’s calendar, alongside a range of other events, including an Oktoberfest.

The association also contributes to the life of its neighborhood, connecting the settlement’s mining heritage with contemporary ideas and an inclusive approach to community. It welcomes people who want to enjoy companionship and help shape club life. The club shares news and photos online and provides information about its shooting grounds and directions.

Its next Schützenfest is scheduled for August 27–29, 2027. With history, heart and a forward-looking outlook, Damme-Glückauf keeps local traditions alive
