GlutenFreeWatchdog

Gluten Free Watchdog is an independent testing and information service that helps consumers assess the gluten content of foods labeled or marketed as gluten-free. It publishes unbiased reporting based on laboratory testing, giving readers evidence to support safer, more informed food choices. Subscribers receive access to the full text of product reports, with eight new reports added each month.

Reports cover products across categories and manufacturers, and provide more than test results. They may also include ingredient lists, “contains” and “may contain” statements, and details about how gluten-free claims appear on product packaging. Sample reports featured on the site include bakery products and rolled oats from brands such as AWG Bakery, PureOats, The Nut Garden, and Trader Joe’s.

The site also offers news and educational resources, including articles about food testing, oats, soy sauce, and malt-derived ingredients, as well as frequently asked questions. Gluten Free Watchdog provides subscription information for consumers and a program for dietitians serving patients with celiac disease and type 1 diabetes.
