GMI Marine Distribution is a privately owned wholesale company specializing in recreational and professional RIBs and inflatable boats across North America. Established in 2021 in partnership with GRAND Marine International and GALA Marine International, it is part of Canada’s GMG Group. The company focuses on building and supporting a dealer network for its boat brands.
Its range includes GALA, Canadian-designed and European-built aluminum-hull RIBs, foldable boats, and canoes from 7 to 22 feet; GRAND, high-end European-built RIBs with fiberglass hulls from 9 to 28 feet; and GALAXY, professional-grade RIBs for rescue, law enforcement, military, and commercial use. The selection also includes VIGO pontoon boats, described as a compact, lightweight option for family cruising.
As an official importer and North American distribution centre, GMI offers dealers boat inventory and wholesale distribution, customer service, technical support, and training. Additional services include warranty and post-warranty assistance, parts supply, logistics and customs arrangements, inventory financing, and cooperative advertising and marketing support.
