Grupo Montañero de Tenerife (GMT) is a mountaineering club based in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, with a history dating to 1963. It brings together people who value mountain experiences, outdoor recreation, camaraderie and care for nature. The club describes mountaineering as a way of relating to the mountains and to life, with conservation as an important part of enjoying the natural environment.
