Gruppo Naturalistico Bellona APS is a volunteer association based in Montebelluna, in Italy’s Treviso province, dedicated to sharing knowledge about astronomy and the natural world. Guided by scientific methods and curiosity, the group has organized cultural and educational activities since 1964. Astronomy is its main focus, but its work also welcomes broader interest in nature and its many forms.

The association offers public observing evenings where participants can learn to view the sky and celestial objects, alongside popular talks that make complex subjects accessible. Technical conferences provide opportunities to explore specific topics with knowledgeable speakers. Members and visitors can also take part in astrophotography sessions and tailored astronomy courses for people seeking a structured introduction or further learning.

Bellona organizes regular events and monthly gatherings, including “I Mercoledì con il Bellona,” when its astronomy section opens its doors to curious visitors and enthusiasts. Its programme also extends to nature-focused subjects, with events such as a series on fungi, covering cultivation, traditional uses and contemporary applications.
