Go Lucky is a boutique studio founded by Mike Valiquette, an award-winning animation producer and director with almost 30 years of experience in the Canadian animation community. Known for his groundbreaking work in creator-driven and storyboard-driven kids' shows, Mike has also made his mark in web-based series and shorts for popular platforms like College Humor and Smosh. As an in-demand production and development consultant, Mike focuses primarily on micro-budget features and short films.

He is also a respected speaker, guest lecturer, and educator, having taught at prestigious institutions such as Algonquin College, Sheridan, and Seneca College. In addition, Mike is the founder and publisher of Canadian Animation Resources/Cartoon North, where he has championed and built communities within the Canadian animation landscape for 14 years. Go Lucky is currently working on several exciting projects, including The Girl in the Moon, a coming of age story with Miyazaki/Superheroes vibes, Voyage of the Intrepid, a darkly humorous sci-fi buddy comedy, Animato Anthropomorfica, a short form exploration of anthropomorphic cartoon animal traditions, and Go-Man and Ko, a thrilling duo consisting of a grizzled super soldier and a brilliant teenage scientist sidekick.
