The Dighton Baseball and Softball League (DBSL) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to fostering young athletes in the Town of Dighton and surrounding communities. Each year, nearly 350 children have the opportunity to participate in baseball and softball, all thanks to the unwavering commitment of our volunteer staff. Beyond just gameplay, DBSL emphasizes the importance of essential values such as honesty, teamwork, and respect. Through sports, children forge vital social connections while learning to abide by rules and cultivate fair play.

In recent years, DBSL has undertaken significant improvements, including the introduction of a basketball program, the installation of lights on the softball field, and the expansion of parking facilities. The league proudly honors its history and community support, with John Jones Field named in memory of a beloved former president and coach. We encourage everyone to join our mission of enriching lives and building community through sports—though we kindly remind attendees that pets are not permitted on the premises.
