Godesberger Motorclub 1953 e. V. is a registered motorsport club with more than 60 years of experience promoting youth participation and making motorsport accessible at a reasonable cost.
The club offers opportunities for drivers at different experience levels, supported by its history in the RCN and participation in the 24-hour race. Its activities include circuit racing, automotive slalom, kart slalom, rallying and hill climbs. Kart slalom is designed to introduce children aged 8 to 18 to competitive motorsport, with the club providing the vehicles and keeping entry and equipment costs relatively low.
Slalom training and events use GMC cars on paved courses, where precision and smooth driving are central. The club also has a fleet of more than 10 vehicles, ranging from a standard Golf 1 to an ex-Cup Seat Leon. Members and guest drivers can access vehicle rental and practical support from Hans Christoph Schäfer, who also shares his motorsport expertise
