Therapiezentrum OPEN is a specialist addiction-treatment centre in Göttingen, Germany, providing medical rehabilitation and adaptation support for adults recovering from dependence on illegal drugs. Its approach places each person’s circumstances and goals at the centre of care, combining established therapeutic methods with a respectful, supportive environment. The programme is intended for men and women who are willing to pursue abstinence and take an active part in their recovery, including people with accompanying mental or physical health conditions.

Medical rehabilitation generally lasts around 22 to 26 weeks, with adjustments possible by agreement. Treatment includes therapeutic, physical, occupational and recreational activities, supported by facilities such as workshops, a fitness room, sauna and landscaped grounds. After inpatient rehabilitation, the centre’s adaptation programme helps participants move towards independent living and a return to work or employment planning.
