Flare

Flare is an AI-powered accounting firm serving high-growth startups and scaleups. Founded by a former KPMG director and Y Combinator founders, it combines startup accounting expertise with an in-house engineering team that builds technology to improve finance workflows. Its services include bookkeeping, month-end reporting and close, accounts payable and receivable support, bank reconciliation, tax compliance, and consolidated accounting for multi-entity businesses. Flare also offers startup packages, finance-team resourcing, fractional CFO services, and fundraising support, including investor-ready reporting, diligence preparation, and data-room assistance.

Designed for companies at different stages, Flare supports early-stage businesses as well as venture-backed, private-equity-backed, bootstrapped, and scaling companies. It serves clients with entities across territories including the United States, United Kingdom, UAE, Ireland, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Singapore, working with local partner firms where needed for jurisdiction-specific compliance. Clients can coordinate with their finance team through a dedicated Slack channel and a bespoke dashboard. Flare also develops AI agents and systems to automate accounting tasks, positioning its service as a technology-enabled alternative to traditional finance support.
