GoGamers

Gamers is Nebraska's oldest video game store, established in 1993 by previous owner Dale Miller. With 14 locations at its peak, including 5 in Nebraska and others in Iowa, Gamers has been a go-to destination for gaming enthusiasts. However, all Gamers locations closed in 2018.

Seeing this as an opportunity, local video game store owner David Mitchell struck a deal with the previous owner to reopen some of the stores. Mitchell, an expert in repairing game consoles, closed his own game stores to fully focus on rebuilding Gamers. Since then, Gamers has made a remarkable comeback.

Mitchell reopened his first location in Omaha in 2019, followed by locations in Lincoln and North Omaha. In 2021, Gamers expanded further by opening a store in Sioux City. Today, Gamers offers an extensive range of games for every console ever created, from retro to new.

They also provide arcade and VR gaming experiences, as well as repair services for video game consoles and PCs. Mitchell's expertise in console repairs includes HDMI, disc reader, wifi, charging, and other issues. Gamers is committed to keeping the brand alive and serving the gaming community
