Gohn's Piano Moving

Gohn’s Piano Moving & Storage is a family-owned, piano-only specialist serving customers along the East Coast since 1996. With more than 30 years of experience, the company transports upright pianos, baby grands and other instruments, focusing on careful handling and stress-free service. Its trained crews use piano-specific equipment, protective padding and custom grand piano bags, and moves are covered by full-value insurance.

Services include local piano moving across Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland and Pennsylvania, as well as long-distance transport with routes extending from Maine to Florida. Gohn’s also provides climate-controlled piano storage, maintaining temperatures of 68–72°F and humidity levels of 30–40%. The company lists piano tuning, restoration and disposal among its services, and connects customers with vetted local tuners, technicians, refinishers and dealers.

The moving process includes planning a safe route, carefully collecting and securing the instrument, and placing and inspecting it at delivery. Customers can request a free, no-obligation quote by sharing the piano type and pickup and delivery locations.
