Going Your Way

Going: Your Way is a Melbourne-based end-of-life support service led by Iain McKinnon, a former registered nurse with palliative care experience. As an end-of-life coach and deathwalker, Iain helps people and their loved ones explore choices, plan for a life-limiting illness, and shape the final stage of life according to their wishes. The service is grounded in informed decision-making, open conversation, and compassionate support.

Offerings include end-of-life planning and journey support, funeral and death-care advocacy and arrangement, funeral and memorial celebrancy, resilience coaching, and palliative and aged-care aromatherapy. Iain also provides space for people to talk about death and dying, helping make difficult subjects easier to approach. Services are flexible and tailored to individual circumstances, with attention to clients’ wishes and support for loved ones during vulnerable times.

Going: Your Way also shares reflections on books, films, articles, and other material related to its work. Its approach encourages people to leave the “elephant in the room” behind through dialogue and engagement, so they can consider their options and make choices that feel right for them.
