Golden Bicycle Cruise is a family-friendly community event held in Golden, Colorado, on the last Tuesday evening of each month from May through September. The event brings riders of all ages together for a themed ride along local streets and bike paths, beginning and ending at 818 14th Street. Participants are encouraged to dress in costume and decorate their bikes, adding a festive touch to each cruise.
The evening runs from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. and combines cycling with live music from a different Golden band, food, drinks, and prize drawings for children and adults. Burgers are provided by Bob’s Atomic Burgers, and beer is available from New Terrain Brewery. The cruise also offers a social way to explore Golden and take part in seasonal themes, with events such as Outer Space, Under the Sea, and Ride of the Living Dead.
Golden Bicycle Cruise operates as a fundraiser, donating part of its beer sales to nonprofit partners, including BikeWalkGolden, CASA Jeffco/Gilpin, Golden Rotary, and local school and community organizations.
