Golden Eagles Wrestling Club (GEWC) is a youth wrestling club based in Algonquin, Illinois, and a club in the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation. Its program welcomes boys and girls of all experience levels, with an emphasis on building a strong foundation in wrestling technique in a safe, positive athletic environment. GEWC aims to help young athletes grow both on and off the mat.
Alongside wrestling skills, the club promotes social values such as loyalty, dedication, sacrifice, and teamwork, as well as honesty, fairness, justice, responsibility, and accountability. The club’s goal is to support athletic development while helping participants learn lessons that can benefit them beyond the sport. GEWC offers seasonal registration for its 2026–2027 program and hosts Wrestling Wednesdays during August, September, and October.
The website lists an early-bird season fee of $200 through September 15, increasing to $225 afterward, and a monthly fee of $20 for Wrestling Wednesdays. Families can register online, view the event calendar, and contact the club by phone or message
