Golden Sierra Jr Grizzlies

Golden Sierra Jr. Grizzlies Youth Football & Cheer Association provides youth sports opportunities in California’s Georgetown Divide communities. The organization serves Coloma, Cool, Garden Valley, Georgetown, Greenwood, Kelsey, Lotus, Pilot Hill, and Volcanoville, offering football and cheer programs for local young people. Its purpose is to create a fun, educational, character-building, and challenging sports experience.

The association emphasizes personal growth and learning rather than defining success by wins, losses, or competition placement. Participants are encouraged to develop skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, and responsibility while enjoying the experience of working together as a team. The programs aim to provide diverse, high-quality youth sports opportunities on the Divide and serve as a feeder program for Golden Sierra High School’s football and cheerleading programs. The association also provides information about registration, available programs, forms, game schedules, volunteer opportunities, and sponsorship. Based in Cool, California, Golden Sierra Jr. Grizzlies brings youth sports and community involvement together while helping prepare participants for high school programs.
