About 公益財団法人ゴールドリボン・ネットワーク
Gold Ribbon Network is a Japanese public interest foundation dedicated to helping children with cancer live safely, with greater comfort and the chance to smile. It connects children undergoing treatment, childhood cancer survivors and their families with healthcare professionals, supporters and businesses, bringing people together to improve daily life and advance efforts to overcome childhood cancer. Its programs include financial assistance for travel and related expenses, support for single-parent households, and grants for knit hats for children receiving treatment.
The foundation also offers the Habatake! Gold Ribbon Scholarship, a non-repayable award for childhood cancer survivors who need financial support while studying at universities or vocational schools. Alongside these practical services, Gold Ribbon Network organizes events and awareness campaigns, shares the experiences of patients and families, and provides ways for people to volunteer or contribute. It also works with companies on corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Through donations, partnerships and public education, the foundation seeks to build a society where children affected by cancer and their families can find support and feel less alone
