Gold Star Kenya is a non-profit, local non-governmental health organization that is dedicated to empowering communities for better health. With expertise gained from collaborating with diverse public and private sector partners and being involved in various projects in Kenya, Gold Star Kenya focuses on improving health outcomes and implementing quality and results-driven interventions.

Established in 2010, Gold Star Kenya is rooted in the Gold Star Network (GSN), a social franchise initiative launched in 2006 by Family Health International (FHI 360). Leveraging the capacities developed through the implementation of public sector HIV prevention, care, treatment, and support programs funded by USAID, GSN expanded access to quality services through innovative public-private partnerships.

Currently, Gold Star Kenya's health programs aim to strengthen healthcare systems and provide high-quality integrated HIV/TB prevention, care, treatment, and management. They also address priority health conditions, such as comprehensive reproductive health, economic empowerment, nutrition services, malaria management, and non-communicable diseases. Through comprehensive health service interventions, they target key populations and foster public-private partnerships to enhance community linkages to products and services.

With a vision of quality, accessible, and sustainable health services for all, Gold Star Kenya achieves its mission through strategic partnerships, innovation, research, and systems strengthening.
