The Bulgarian Golf Association (BGA) is the national organization for golf in Bulgaria. Established in June 2001, it received a license from the State Agency of Youth and Sport and joined the European Golf Association that same year. The BGA supports the development and promotion of golf through championships, junior and women’s golf initiatives, beginner development, affiliation services, and local and European projects.
Its competition program includes the Bulgarian Amateur Open Championship, the Bulgarian Senior Open, the State National and Junior State National Championships, and the Bulgarian Junior Open. These events bring together golfers from Bulgaria and abroad, with divisions and competitions serving different age groups and levels of play. The association also shares schedules, tournament news, and information about golf courses and indoor facilities.
Through its events and development activities, the BGA helps connect players, clubs, and golf communities across the country. It provides information and contact channels for people interested in participating, following competitions, or learning more about golf in Bulgaria.
