Golf The Villages

The Villages offers a broad golf and recreation experience in its Florida community, with executive and championship golf courses, practice facilities, and services for players of different skill levels. Golfers can find course schedules, tee-time information, rates, fees, handicaps, slope ratings, local rules, and guidance on golf-cart policies. The organization also promotes “Good Golf,” emphasizing consideration for fellow golfers and nearby residents, course care, and safety. Residents can attend a complimentary Good Golf School to learn about the tee-time system and review the Good Golf Guide.

Golf instruction is available through the Golf Academy, including new-player and refresher schools, group and private lessons, clinics, junior programs, and tips from instructors. Additional offerings include custom club fitting, repairs, and a shop, as well as tournaments, men’s and ladies’ day pairings and events. The wider recreation program also features tennis and pools. The Villages highlights hospitality and stewardship, noting that many team members are residents. Golf and tennis administration can provide information about membership enhancements and related services.
