Golf Wellington

Golf Wellington Incorporated is the premier governing body for golf in the Wellington District, established in 2009 from the merger of the former Men's and Women's Associations. Our mission is to enhance the golfing experience for all enthusiasts by leading and supporting local clubs. We collaborate with 27 clubs and Golf NZ to provide a diverse range of golfing activities, from competitive events to community programs aimed at promoting the sport.

Our offerings include comprehensive support for clubs, assistance in talent development programs, and creating a welcoming environment for golfers of all abilities. We emphasize inclusivity through initiatives like She Loves Golf, ensuring everyone has access to participate and enjoy the game. In addition to traditional golf, we also provide opportunities for fun activities such as mini golf, footgolf, and frisbee golf across various regions including Wellington City, Porirua, and Wairarapa. Whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned player, Golf Wellington is dedicated to nurturing your passion for golf.
