Jorge Gomes & Irmão (Gomarte), founded in 1976 by the brothers Jorge and Abílio Gomes, is amongst the leading Portuguese companies, producing tights and socks. Over the past 40 year its family run administration has secured its position in the socks market, thanks to their motivation and professionalism. Currently, it has a production unit, of 12,000sqm, 120 employees and 400 modern production machines. Today, Gomarte is amongst the leading European companies in the socks industry.
