About Good Business Charter
The Good Business Charter is an initiative of the Good Business Foundation, a registered charity in England and Wales. It is a recognition program that promotes responsible business behaviors. The Good Business Charter works closely with organizations such as the TUC, IoD, and FSB to ensure that the voices of both businesses and workers are heard.
The Good Business Charter offers accreditation to organizations that meet its 10 components, which encompass various aspects of responsible business practices. By joining the Good Business Charter, organizations gain access to a streamlined version of the charter specifically designed for small businesses, as well as a resource library and support from the Good Business Charter team. The Good Business Foundation was established in 2019 and launched the Charter in February 2020.
Since then, it has attracted a diverse range of organizations, including large corporations, small businesses, and charities. The vision is for the Good Business Charter to be promoted and adopted across all sectors in towns, cities, and regions. The Good Business Foundation is led by CEO Jenny Herrera and supported by a board of trustees, which includes respected figures from various sectors
