About Virgin Islands Good Food
Good Food Coalition, a project of the St. Croix Foundation for Community Development established in 2012, is dedicated to fostering a robust and sustainable food system in the US Virgin Islands. Our mission is to facilitate innovation, economic growth, and agricultural development in the region.
We play a pivotal role in connecting consumers, government entities, and private industries to drive long-term change and enhance the local food system. Through strategies like market creation, education outreach, technical assistance for farmers, and advocacy, we empower local growers to increase food production, access new markets, and promote healthy, locally sourced produce. Led by Founder and Executive Director Sommer Sibilly-Brown, our organization strives to build a thriving food ecosystem that benefits Virgin Islanders.
Join us in our efforts to support local farmers and promote a sustainable food future for the USVI community
