Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian and development NGO in General Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC. GN has made great strides in its mission by providing people around the world with a better quality of life since its establishment in 1991. GN currently has missions around the world to ensure the well-being of people in need. Our Vision No one suffers from starvation. No one falls victim to preventable diseases. Everyone feels welcome and respected, without prejudice or discrimination. Our Mission We are an international, humanitarian, and development organization. We respect the dignity of human beings, striving for the restoration of humanity and ethical virtue. We contribute to the building of a global community by way of the joy in sharing and where people live together in harmony. We prescribe to a holistic approach in providing sustainable development and relief work regardless of race, nationality, religion, ideology, or geographical constraints. We mobilize and manage resources, and are committed in solving the problems of underprivileged and marginalized people. We utilize local resources to maximize effective and efficient work. We are an enabler that works in cooperation with our partners. We will work in any place where there is a need. In Tajikistan, the organization has been working to support civil war orphans in Dushanbe. Currently, we are helping more than 16,000 children in 6 regions through regular sponsors and by conducting various projects for community development.
