Goodness Sauce Co. is a South Australian-made and owned brand creating plant-based, gluten-free and dairy-free condiments and snacks. Its approach combines traditional fermentation with modern techniques, using simple ingredients and local produce whenever possible. The brand began with a buckwheat-based soy sauce, developed so that friends and family avoiding gluten or animal products could enjoy a flavourful condiment together.
Its range includes soy sauce brewed from soy bean and buckwheat koji and fermented for at least six months, as well as a lighter, fruitier amino sauce made with black turtle beans and rice koji. Both bring savoury umami flavour to meals. Goodness Sauce Co. also offers snacks such as lacto-fermented, dehydrated Brussels sprouts and mushroom jerky made from King Oyster and Shiitake mushrooms marinated in its soy sauce.
Customers can shop the products online or try them at My Office Wine Bar in Goodwood, where the condiments feature in the food menu and bottles are available to take home.
