Good Swings Academy

Good Swings Academy is a specialized golf training academy providing adaptive instruction for individuals with disabilities and special needs. Its mission is to make golf accessible to people of all abilities through personalized coaching and an inclusive, supportive learning environment. The academy’s programs are designed to help students build confidence, improve coordination and motor skills, and foster independence both on and off the course.

Services include one-on-one adaptive coaching tailored to each student’s physical and cognitive needs, as well as small-group training that encourages social interaction and teamwork. Youth development programs use golf to support children with special needs in building coordination, confidence, and life skills. Good Swings Academy also offers workshops and lectures for parents, caregivers, and educators on adaptive sports techniques.

The academy works with organizations including Home Guardian Angels and the South Central Los Angeles Regional Center. Prospective participants can apply online; after an eligibility review, the team discusses goals, creates a personalized plan, and arranges training dates, instructor pairing, and course location.
