Good Times Running Club (GTRC) is a Gold Coast-based running club for people who want to enjoy running, build friendships and support their wellbeing. Its community welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, from walkers and run/walkers to competitive athletes, and helps members prepare for events while staying fit, healthy and happy.
The club offers structured training for 5K and 10K races, half-marathons, marathons and ultra-distance events. Weekly sessions include speed training on Tuesdays, hill training on Thursdays and long runs on Saturdays, with routes and starting points shared through the club’s social channels. Members can also take part in additional fitness activities, including deep water running, yoga and boxing, alongside club events and social activities such as coffee gatherings.
GTRC provides educational tips from elite sports performance coaches and athletes, with sessions suited to different ability levels. Membership includes access to club activities and discounts from supporting partners Nike, Lululemon and Nike Robina. Annual registration costs $40 and covers October 1 to September 30.
