GoodWAN is a Russian-developed Internet of Things brand offering wireless data solutions for remote monitoring. Its technology is designed to protect data and maintain reliable digital communications over long distances, including in environments affected by radio interference. The company develops its own radio-protocol stack and provides a cloud platform or software for installation on a customer’s corporate network.

GoodWAN’s products include sensors and network gateways for applications across smart cities, offices and buildings, railways, waste management, environmental monitoring, perimeter security, agriculture and industrial facilities. Sensors can track conditions such as water levels, temperature, humidity, air quality, soil moisture, container fill levels, equipment status and movement or access events. The solutions support alerts and monitoring for issues including flooding, open access points and potential fires.

The company states that its sensors can operate from -40 to +85°C, work autonomously, and offer reception distances of up to 50 kilometres or more depending on terrain and interference.
