Goole Amateur Boxing Club CIO is an inclusive community club in Goole, East Yorkshire, welcoming people of all genders from age eight. Describing itself as one big family, the club supports members to build fitness, confidence, teamwork and respect, while helping them develop positive, healthy lives. Its programme combines competitive and recreational boxing training with non-contact, boxing-based fitness classes, so participation is not limited to people who want to compete.
Sessions cater to complete beginners, experienced boxers and a range of fitness levels, with classes for junior age groups and adults throughout the week. The timetable includes senior boxing and fitness sessions, as well as sparring for England Boxing-carded boxers. Training is led by Head Coach and Trustee Renetta Edwards and a team of coaches.
The club welcomes new members and offers a free first session; group classes cost £3 per session thereafter. Based at 25 Boothferry Road, Goole, the club can be contacted by email or through Facebook for membership and session details
