About The Gore Family Foundation
The Gore Family Foundation is committed to making a positive impact on Jamaican education and youth development. With a focus on providing quality education, they offer various programs and services to support basic school students and at-risk youth. The Foundation's Basic School Program prioritizes assessing and addressing learning loss and social-emotional issues among basic school students.
Using technology, interactive media toys, and low-cost toys made of recyclable material, their Special Education Teachers engage children and promote holistic development. Additionally, the Foundation runs the Reach Up and Learn Program, which utilizes tennis as a vehicle for mental, social, and physical development in young children. They also offer the Rose Town Construction Internship Program, providing training to interns to help them reach their full potential.
Furthermore, the Foundation offers resources for tertiary students, parents, and teachers. Through initiatives like the HOPE Programme and scholarships, they support individuals in pursuing their educational goals. With their dedication to improving Jamaica's education system and empowering youth, the Gore Family Foundation continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many
